Getting Plowed: A Grumpy Mountain Man Romance

A disgraced city girl. A grumpy mountain man. And a blizzard that changes everything.

Sloane Mercer is a professional fixer. Or she was, until a PR scandal torched her career, her engagement, and her reputation. Now, she’s driving into the heart of a blizzard to sell her estranged grandmother’s cabin and scrape together enough cash to start over.

She has a plan: Sign the papers. Sell the cabin. Get back to civilization.

She didn’t plan on crashing her Audi into a snowbank in the middle of nowhere.

Enter Silas “Ridge” Thorn. He’s six-foot-four of scarred muscle and bad attitude, a former Search and Rescue lead who prefers the silence of the mountains to the chaos of people. He pulls Sloane from the wreckage, but he’s not happy about it. Now, with the roads closed and the storm of the century raging outside, Sloane is trapped in his rustic cabin for five days.

No power. No cell service. And only one bed.

Silas thinks she’s a spoiled city princess. Sloane thinks he’s a rude, lumberjack hermit. But as the temperature drops and the walls close in, the friction between them sparks into something hot enough to melt the snow.

When the storm clears, Sloane has to make a choice: return to the city that broke her, or fight for the man who thinks he’s too broken to be loved.

Getting Plowed is a steamy, forced-proximity, grumpy/sunshine romance with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating. Features a protective hero, a competent heroine, and a one-bed scenario that actually makes sense.
