A Life of Magic: Bill Hunter's Memoir
About this audiobook
Do you like magic?
Pick a card, any card.
Maybe you’re not much for tricks. But maybe you’ve never met a magician like Bill Hunter. At 102 years old, this World War II Navy veteran and magician has lived a truly magical life: travelling to 19 countries, visiting 42 U.S. states, and performing everywhere from the hospital ward in Sydney where he picked up his first deck of cards, to bringing magic to banquets with astronauts, golf courses, stage shows and even for airline pilots in first class at 100 years old.
Known to many as The Indy 500 Magician after performing in the suites at the Indianapolis 500 for 50 years, Bill has spent eight decades bringing wonder and laughter to audiences around the world.
Told through Bill’s own words and stories, lovingly compiled by his cousin Emma Lovell, A Life of Magic is a celebration of the
extraordinary power of human connection.
Because real magic isn’t about the tricks.
It’s about the person who brings them to life, and the joy they spark in everyone they meet.
