About the author

Serena Patel is the award-winning and bestselling author of the Anisha Accidental Detective series. The first in the Anisha series won the Sainsbury's Children's Book awards 2020, while the second was shortlisted for the 2021 Blue Peter Book Award for Best Story and the 2021 Lollies Book Awards. She has also written two titles in the series Pia's Pet Club.

Krupa Pattani is an actor from London and can most recently be seen as Jess Kaur in Mr Bates VS The Post Office for ITV, which won Most Popular New Drama at the 2024 National Television Awards. She has also appeared in TV shows like Silent Witness, Hollyoaks and Citizen Khan. Krupa also played Sita in the animated feature Ron's Gone Wrong for Disney and as Usma in Ali and Ava which was nominated for Best British Film at the BAFTAs.
