I love the practical steps taught in this book for Christian families. I was inspired over a decade ago to model my family after the teachings of Baucham. It is lovely listening to this again and bitter sweet hearing the stories of how much he loved his wife, kids, and mother after knowing he departed this world and is with King Jesus in heaven. I pray the principles here can heal my broken family and transform millions of other families for generations to come. For prospective readers, this the #1 book I recommend for believers who want tangible steps to live out their faith in Christ. SUMMARY: Have a biblical worldview, have family worship, catechize your children, disciple them, and give them a Christian education. There are many more principles illustrated, and Baucham does a great job describing how to do them in a simple plain language that's easy for everyone to understand. This would be a great book to read with other families in church.

Amazing book. A must read for all fathers, and mothers. If the road we have been sending our children leads off a cliff, why are we as parents still sending children down that road to die!!! This book helps parents see the coming cliff whilst there is time enable parents to help steer our children to safety.
