The Death Moon of Theron IX: A Science Fantasy Adventure of Ancient Alien Weapons, Engineered Monsters, and Survival

The warning was simple: Do not approach. Prince Alexander Strong intends to find out why.

After surviving the dragons of Xylos, Prince Alexander and mercenary captain Anna Wilde finally return to Triton III—only to discover that the kingdom they left behind is already sliding into civil war.

Then Dr. Elara Vess makes a discovery that changes everything.

Hidden inside the crystalline samples brought back from Xylos is an artificial star map pointing far beyond explored space to a forbidden world known as Theron IX. Embedded inside the crystals is a message that has survived for generations:

Do not approach.

Alexander soon learns his father has known about Theron IX for twenty-three years—and that Alexander's mother died uncovering its secret. The ancient civilization responsible for the mysterious world engineered it as a weapon, creating an ecosystem in which everything that lives there was designed to kill.

When Alexander refuses to abandon Anna or give up the expedition, King Theron gives his son an impossible choice. Alexander chooses the stars—and exile. Anna chooses Alexander. Together they flee Triton aboard the Kestrel, pursued by enemies determined to stop them from reaching the forbidden system.

But political enemies are only the beginning.

Theron IX and its moon conceal crystalline sentinels, biological hunter-killers, ancient weapons, orbital defenses, and technology left behind by a civilization powerful enough to turn an entire world into a fortress. What appears at first to be a prison may actually be something far more terrifying.

Because Theron IX wasn't built simply to keep something in.

It was built to keep something out.

And something has been coming toward it for three hundred years.

With their ship damaged, enemies closing in, and an ancient defense network awakening around them, Alexander and Anna must uncover the truth before Theron IX becomes their grave.

The Death Moon of Theron IX is Book Three of the Dragon's Breath and Starlight Series, continuing the adventures of Prince Alexander Strong and Anna Wilde in a story of unexplored worlds, ancient civilizations, deadly creatures, royal betrayal, and a relationship forged in survival.

Some worlds were never meant to be explored.

Some warnings were meant to be obeyed.
