Topping off a terrible year, librarian Charlotte's ex returns with an invitation to his wedding. To show she's moved on, she flies to Edinburgh to visit a fake Scottish boyfriend—then bonds with a young seatmate and her ducal father on the plane, and finds the ruse turning real. This fun, heartwarming holiday romance drew me in from the start. I loved the characters and the enemies-to-lovers aspect between Charlotte and Ewan. I enjoyed the audiobook narration.
