The God Log: Taxation

The God Log: Taxation

by Steve Hutchison

What if taxation was not support for society —

but obedience written into law?

This is not fairness.

This is not reciprocity.

This is structure layered in secrecy and threat.

Every paycheck cut before you touch it.

Every receipt swollen by invisible surcharges.

Every gallon of fuel carrying levies upon levies,

and every property bill a reminder you never own.

In this volume, I strip away the illusion —

and reveal not shared prosperity,

but extraction disguised as duty.

What if services were excuse,

and bureaucracy the only true destination?

What if compliance was never choice,

but ritual submission disguised as contract?

There are no receipts here.

No guarantees, no balances, no visible return.

Only money harvested,

and citizens trained to call it contribution.

If you’ve ever felt your wages dissolve into nothing,

if you’ve wondered why services vanish while taxes rise —

this is where you face taxation without disguise,

and recognize the obedience it was built to sustain.
