Merry Christmas Murder
About this audiobook
All journalist Roland "Beanie" Bean wanted was a peaceful holiday season with his wife Noelle and their rambunctious sons, four-year-old Ethan and two-year-old Evan.
But visions of sugar plums have been replaced by Evan's epic tantrums and Ethan's endless questions about why Santa can't bring him every toy in sight. By their fourth visit to see St. Nick in two weeks, Beanie's redefined "holiday magic" as simply surviving the mall.
When Santa Claus is shot during their latest visit, Beanie's reporter instincts kick in—even as he tries to shield his boys from the chaos.
The Palmchat Gazette has other plans for him: investigate the suspicious death of a man found in a burned-out car on this sun-soaked Caribbean island. As Beanie juggles untangling Christmas lights, fielding questions on why reindeer can fly, and following leads, he uncovers a bizarre connection between the torched vehicle and the attack on Santa.
The deeper he digs, the more dangerous it becomes. Someone doesn't want the truth revealed …
Beanie must use all his wits to solve the case—and make it home in time to see his boys' faces light up on Christmas morning.
A holiday cozy mystery featuring a devoted dad and journalist navigating murder, mayhem, toddler meltdowns, and bedtime routines in the sun-drenched Caribbean. Perfect for readers seeking clever sleuthing with heart, family warmth, and a tropical twist. Can be read as a standalone.
