About this audiobook

A contemporary billionaire romance with an accidental marriage/marriage of convenience, opposites attract sparks between a struggling artist and a self-made billionaire, and slow-burn, closed-door chemistry. Expect forced proximity, second-chance at life and love vibes, class-gap tension, and a feel-good HEA. Perfect for readers who enjoy Vegas wedding gone wrong (then right), rich-meets-real, and sweet, low-angst contemporary romance.

When a Las Vegas prank turns into an accidental and very legal marriage, Isabel Shipley is dead set on getting a discreet and hasty divorce. The last thing the struggling artist wants is to admit to her family she's screwed up—again—but Everett Drake's desire to give their marriage a chance proves hard to resist.

Billionaire Everett Drake is as surprised as Isabel to find himself married to a virtual stranger. But what's done is done and arranged marriages have succeeded with less than the chemistry he and Isabel share..Isabel checks all the boxes—minus her determination to divorce.

Can two people from two very different worlds find the common ground that will make a marriage work—or will they have to admit defeat and end their Vegas mistake?

Forcing love after one night stand, agreeing to be bossy and entire world supporting him sounds unrealistic. True love happens overtime knowing each other's strengths and weaknesses, endure trouble, falls and if can see each other and smile, that is when one should think of marriage. No offense but initial phase is just lust. Before I am judge, I am a guy but feel everyone has right to experience love at their own terms instead of forced or pushed into

The book was cute. Didn't understand why the author basically had two books in one. The story kept switching from Izzy's story to Tessa's story. The author didn't do a good job at separating the two stories.

About the author

Kay Lyons always wanted to be a writer, ever since the age of seven or eight when she copied the pictures out of a Charlie Brown book and rewrote the story because she didn’t like the plot. Through the years her stories have changed but one characteristic stayed true— they were all romances. Each and every one of her manuscripts included a love story.

Published in 2005 with Harlequin Enterprises, Kay’s first release was a national bestseller. Kay has also been a HOLT Medallion, Book Buyers Best and RITA Award nominee. Look for her most recent novels with Kindred Spirits Publishing.
