Short Description

In the flooded undercity of Bangkok 2039, identity is no longer sacred—it’s a commodity.

Liam Bennett survives the neon slums as a courier for the black-market underworld, haunted by a mysterious condition known as the Ghost Touch: a phantom agony that crawls beneath his skin ever since his mother vanished during a citywide blackout three years ago.

When a routine delivery goes wrong, Liam is dragged into the hidden nightmare beneath the city—the Deep Market, a secret empire where human skin, memories, and identities are harvested and sold to the highest bidder. There, the rich don stolen faces like designer fashion, while the poor are stripped apart and preserved in living vats.

But the horror becomes personal when Liam discovers the market’s most valuable item: a perfect living replica of his missing mother’s face, prepared for auction as a masterpiece of biological engineering.

Now hunted by faceless enforcers, rogue surgeons, and the monstrous architect known only as the Sculptor, Liam must descend deeper into the city’s flesh-built underworld before the blackout ends. Because beneath the skin of Bangkok lies a secret powerful enough to collapse the entire system—and his mother may be the key to destroying it.

Dark, cinematic, and relentlessly atmospheric, Skin Market is a brutal cyberpunk descent into identity, memory, and the terrifying price of becoming someone else.
