About this audiobook

Easily bored, completely manipulative, and utterly deadly…and that’s just in bed.

As an assassin for the Castellani Family, I live for the thrill of the job.

I'm devoted to my Family and my Don, because they keep me safe.

To Leo Bernardi, I'm a monster.

A killing machine.

And a puppet that his Family can use for their own ends.

To me, Leo Bernardi is a pawn.

A means to an end.

And if I have a little fun with him along the way, who cares?

Leo thinks he can seduce me. Tame me. Use me.

In this game of cat and mouse, the Bernardi Lion is about to get a big surprise.

But the more entangled we become, the more I start to feel…

Things I didn’t think I was capable of feeling.

Things I’ve never wanted to feel.

In my line of work, love is a fatal flaw. But the more time we spend together, the harder I fall.

Leo Bernardi is my greatest enemy…

Could he also be my only love?

The story is intense, well crafted, well paced, the tensions builds up, I was hooked. The romance is goos as well, I needed a bit of time to warm to the main characters, mainly with Leo, but I got there. The audio is great, I needed a couple of chapters to really get used to the accents, but the narrator does a great job to enhance the story. I recommend. This is the first book I read/listened of this series, and while it could be a standalone I think I missed a lot. and w

Michael Ferraiuolo is fantastic at narrating the world Leighton Greene has created. I’ve been looking forward to Julian’s book since Morelli Family book 7. Learning more about what makes Julian tick has been an emotional journey, I’m happy Leo was deserving of him. Their relationship, while bumpy with misunderstandings, was incredibly sweet. The mystery aspect of the book was as twisty as usual, and while I figured out who did it early on, the who’s and why’s along the way kept me guessing.

Leighton Greene just keeps getting better. His Fatal Love completely consumed me from start to finish, and Julian may be one of the most fascinating characters in the series. I loved finally getting inside his head and seeing the layers beneath the chaos. Leo and Julian’s dynamic was intense, emotional, and messy in the best way. Michael Ferraiuolo’s narration was phenomenal as always. This series has me completely hooked.
