Overcoming Depression – The True Story of Overcoming and Rebirth
This book is more than a story—it's a cry for liberation. Anthonny Maverik opens his heart and reveals a journey marked by trauma, rejection, loneliness, and pain—but also by courage, faith, and rebirth.
In “Overcoming Depression,” you delve into the depths of a mind at war with itself and follow the awakening of someone who learned to transform pain into strength.
Between falls and new beginnings, drugs and despair, the author finds a new purpose: rebuilding his life through self-knowledge, resilience, and the power of the internet.
This is an invitation to those who struggle in silence, to those who think about giving up and need to remember that darkness is also the place where stars are born.
“Pain destroyed me, but it was pain that taught me how to live.”
—Anthonny Maverik
Born in 1988 in the city of Cascavel, Paraná, Anthonny Maverik grew up amidst storms—both external and internal. His mother's rejection, childhood trauma, and loneliness left a profound mark on him, shaping him into a rebellious young man searching for love and meaning. Throughout his life, he faced depression, addiction, family betrayal, and seven serious motorcycle accidents that nearly forced him to give up. Despite all the setbacks, Maverik always started over. He worked as a janitor, motorcycle courier, security guard, and street vendor, building houses with his own hands and bearing the marks of overcoming obstacles on his body. It was only when he discovered the power of the internet and the world of writing that he found a new purpose: transforming pain into a message and wounds into strength. Today, he is the author of works such as Digital Fortune, Dark Web and Its Hidden Dangers, and Overcoming Fear—books that combine emotion, truth, and self-transformation. His stories touch hearts and awaken minds, showing that even those who came from the abyss can reach the light. “Pain forged me. Writing freed me.”
