About this audiobook

‘For lovers of Sophie Kinsella this is the perfect book’ Dilushani, Goodreads

It’s the most wonderful time of the year...

Except for Daisy, Christmas means another of Uncle T’s dreaded Christmas parties, complete with Christmas jumper and flashing antlers. And Oliver Cartwright. Gorgeous Oliver Cartwright. Who she hates.

Every year Daisy has to face insufferable Ollie and hear all about how BRILLIANT he is. Whereas Daisy has no job, no man and no idea how to fix things.

This Christmas, however, Daisy is determined things will be different. There will be no snogging Ollie under the mistletoe like when they were teenagers. No, this year she’ll show Ollie that she’s a Responsible Adult too.

But as the champagne corks pop, and the tinsel sparkles, Uncle T has news of his own to share... and it could change Daisy's life forever...

Bridget Jones meets the Hallmark Channel in an irresistible romantic comedy you won’t want to miss this Christmas.

***Spolier*** I listened to "Four Christmases and a Secret" by Zara Stoneley, Narrated by Georgia Maguire via Audiobook. I made a pledge that I was only going to read/listen to Christmas Romance novels/audiobooks in December 2025. I thought the love story between Daisy and Oliver (Ollie) Cartwright was cute. So typical. Mothers are best friends but Daisy and Ollie fought as kids and always were in competition. They didn't really like each other because their Mothers always tried to outdo the other Mother by bragging about their children. I loved how at every Christmas something happened to change the story: Christmas #1, 2024: Second Kiss. Christmas #2, 2017: First time Daisy and Ollie had seen each other in 13 years. Christmas #3, 2018: Third Kiss and Health Scare. Christmas #4, 2019: Daisy and Ollie lived happily ever after. I loved how Uncle Terence knew Daisy and Ollie were meant for each other. They just needed help in order to see this, so Uncle Terence arranged things so they would see the love they had for each other. They had no clue. Things I did not like about this book: Frankie was a jealous not friend. She was good for nothing and I could see this the entire time. Frankie never uplifted Daisy and always wanted Daisy to stay in her place. I did not like Tim either. He never listened to Daisy. Tim was always out for himself and I'm glad James saw this. In addition, the pace of this book was a little slow for me. Daisy and Ollie took too long to realize they were in love. All the signs were there, they just ignored them. Just FYI, there were alot of secrets in this book. However, I won't mention them. The Secret I think that is in the title was a shock to some in the novel but I saw the signs as well.
