Christ in All Things (Annotated Edition): With Chapter Notes

Christ in All Things by Watchman Nee is a clear and searching call to return to the center of the Christian life: not principles, not methods, not spiritual “things,” but Christ Himself.

Across these messages, Nee gently yet firmly uncovers a common danger—substituting the Lord with what appears helpful or holy: practices, teachings, experiences, or personal strength. With pastoral clarity, he points the reader back to the living reality of Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life, as the Resurrection, as the Bread and the Light, and ultimately as God’s everything. The result is not a heavier burden of self-effort, but an invitation into a simpler, deeper life of dependence—where Christ becomes not only the goal, but the supply.

This Annotated Edition includes brief editorial footnotes introducing each chapter’s key themes, helping readers follow the flow of Nee’s thought and reflect on the practical implications of each message.

If you are longing for a faith that is more than routine—more than knowledge without life—Christ in All Things calls you back to the One who is sufficient for everything.
