Vladimir Villarreal is an architect and writer (Monterrey, Mexico, 1977). He doesn't limit himself to a particular genre in his writing, as he reads a wide variety of genres and says he writes what he himself would like to find in a book.
In 2013, he published his first book of short stories, "La Zombie y el Conejo" (The Zombie and the Rabbit).
In 2019, he released his first novel, "Perreador."
In 2020, he published a short book of political essays, "El Sitio Propicio" (The Propitious Place), which contains three essays on civic education and democracy in Mexico.
In 2021, he returned with a manual for editing ebooks for independent authors, titled "eBook infallible" (Infallible eBook).
He coordinates the "Colección Relatos Sueltos" (Loose Stories Collection) at 38 Minutos Ediciones, a publication that offers a taste of the work of several independent Spanish-speaking short story writers from different countries.
Currently he's working on the translation of her collection of stories into different languages, included in her book "The Zombie and the Rabbit" and in other anthologies; for the English language you can find them in the collection "Fantastic Imagination Machine."
