Two In The Bush

A treacherous Alaskan course, a life-changing storm, and a desire neither of them can deny.

Attorney Melony Shepherd has spent her entire life trying—and failing—to live up to her father’s unattainable expectations. Successful on the surface but emotionally exhausted underneath, she signs up for Hunter McFadden’s Alaskan Wilderness Survival Course, hoping two weeks in the remote bush might help her rediscover the courage and confidence she’s lost along the way.

She never expects Hunter himself.

Rugged, sharp-tongued, and impossible to intimidate, the copper-haired Scotsman has little patience for self-pity—and an unsettling ability to see straight through Melony’s carefully constructed walls. The more he challenges and teases her, the more determined she becomes to prove she’s stronger than he thinks.

But Hunter sees something haunted in Melony’s eyes because he’s carried that same darkness himself.

As survival challenges, dangerous terrain, and a violent storm push them closer together, the attraction between them becomes harder and harder to ignore. Yet even as passion builds, Hunter refuses to ask for more than Melony is ready to give.

Because some things have to be chosen freely.

And when her time in Alaska comes to an end, Melony must decide whether returning to her carefully controlled life is truly enough… or if risking her heart on the wildest leap of faith she’s ever taken could finally bring her back to life.
