Alibi: A Novel
About this audiobook
Alibi by Teri Woods is a gripping urban thriller that plunges readers into the gritty streets of North Philadelphia in 1986, where loyalty, betrayal, and survival collide.
Narrated by Morae Brehon and Malik Rashad
Lance and Jeremy, two desperate men looking for a way out of their struggles, thought they'd found the perfect opportunity--a chance to rob the stash house of Simon Shuller, one of Philadelphia's biggest drug lords. That fateful decision may have started out as a calculated heist but soon spiraled into a night of chaos, bloodshed, and irreversible consequences.
As the bodies pile up and the streets buzz with whispers of revenge, the story weaves through the lives of those caught in the crossfire. From Nard, a street soldier with a code of honor, to Daisy Mae, a woman trying to escape her past, each character is drawn into a web of lies, violence, and survival. With the police closing in and the shadow of Simon Shuller, the city's untouchable drug kingpin, looming large, everyone is searching for an alibi—but not everyone will make it out alive.
With Alibi, Teri Woods once again brings us a masterfully crafted tale of raw emotion, high stakes, and the unrelenting grip of the streets. This is a novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very end.
