The Pact: A BRAND NEW twist-filled thriller of friendship, betrayal and a killer seeking revenge from Teri Terry

The BRAND NEW unmissable, heart-pounding psychological thriller from Teri Terry

Some secrets come back to kill...

Seventeen years ago, schoolgirl Maggie died after a fall from a cliff. It was ruled a suicide. The girls who knew the truth made a pact never to speak of what happened.

Now one of them is dead.

When Isobel's body is found beneath the same cliff close to the anniversary of Maggie's death, four friends are dragged back into a past they've spent years trying to bury. Anonymous messages begin to arrive, each echoing the sinister magpie nursery rhyme. Someone knows what happened all those years ago – and they're determined to make the survivors pay.

As old friendships fracture and long-buried secrets resurface, cracks appear in the story they've always believed. But with reputations, families and lives at stake, not everyone is willing to let the truth emerge.

Because some secrets are worth killing for. And this time, the magpie has come for them all.

A twist-filled story of friendship, betrayal and the secrets that refuse to stay buried, perfect for fans of Lisa Jewell, Claire Douglas and B.A. Paris.
