The Sinfulness and Cure of Thoughts

This sermon by Puritan Stephen Charnock pushes past the surface understanding of sin and temptation by diving into the very thoughts and mindsets that reveal a corrupt heart and a soul distanced from God. He writes that through discipline, repentance, and God’s grace, one can push back against evil thoughts, sinful notions, and corruption. Turning continually to God with reverence and dedication, accepting His love and transforming power, is the way to resist these sinful thoughts.
