Seshat: Divine Precision in Ancient Egypt
ამ აუდიოწიგნის შესახებ
Seshat: Divine Precision in Ancient Egypt explores the hidden force behind one of history's most enduring civilizations—not a goddess of spectacle, but of structure, alignment, and exactness. While towering temples and pyramids dominate the landscape, this book turns to the invisible principles that made them possible. At the heart of this system stands Seshat, the enigmatic goddess of measurement, whose presence ensured that every line drawn, every boundary fixed, and every monument raised conformed to a higher order.
Through a careful reading of archaeology, inscriptions, and architectural design, this work reveals how ancient Egypt transformed geometry into theology and precision into permanence. From the ritual of stretching the cord to the alignment of pyramids with the cardinal directions, Seshat emerges as the quiet architect of eternity—her influence embedded not in myth, but in the enduring coherence of stone.
