INSIDE THE DEBORAH GREEN CULT: Control, Fear, and Escape

What happens when faith becomes absolute—and one woman claims to speak for God?

Inside the Deborah Green Cult is a chilling true story of power, manipulation, and survival inside one of America’s most disturbing religious groups. Hidden in the remote deserts of New Mexico, the Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps (ACMTC) operated for decades beyond the reach of scrutiny—its members cut off from the outside world, its rules enforced with fear, violence, and unwavering obedience.

At the center was Deborah Green, a self-proclaimed “General” who built a militarized spiritual empire where questioning authority meant defying God Himself.

Through gripping narrative and deeply researched accounts, this book pulls back the curtain on life inside the compound—where:

Children were raised without freedom or protection

Families were torn apart in the name of devotion

Identity, thought, and emotion were tightly controlled

Escape meant risking everything

Told through survivor testimonies, court records, and investigative insight, this is not just the story of a cult—it’s the story of the people who endured it, the ones who found the courage to leave, and the system that failed to stop it for far too long.

Raw, haunting, and impossible to forget, Inside the Deborah Green Cult is a powerful examination of how ordinary people can become trapped in extraordinary systems—and what it takes to break free.
