STANDOFF AT BLACK RIDGE: "An old school men's action thriller that pulls no punches"

A nameless drifter with no phone, no ID, walks into town

In this explosive first book of a brand new series, a stranger with a past shrouded in mystery walks into the quiet Midwestern town of Black Ridge seeking only hard work and a simple place to rest.

Black Ridge appears as the perfect slice of heartland America—welcoming, community-minded, and committed to doing good.

But perfection often hides rot.

Beneath the surface lies a web of corruption, exploitation, abuse, and cold-blooded murder. The town's power players—prey on the vulnerable while posing as saviors. To challenge them is to risk everything.

Gideon Job isn't just passing through. He has a quiet calling, an unyielding purpose, and a moral code forged in fire.

When the innocent cry out, he answers.

The string-pullers of Black Ridge soon discover they've awakened a force they can't control—an unbreakable man who fights not for glory, but for justice. He's a one-man reckoning, a brawler who uses whatever's at hand, and he won't stop until the evil is cleansed.

STANDOFF AT BLACK RIDGE launches a gripping new series of old-school men's action adventure from the author of the Baker & Tate thrillers—for readers who crave lone-wolf heroes who deliver justice the hard way, no apologies, no compromise, in pulse-pounding small-town showdowns that echo Shane, Walking Tall, and Reacher.
