Splinter Faction: Jack Calder

Jack Calder – Private Investigator, Melbourne, Australia.

When Melbourne businessman Thomas Brennan vanishes without warning, private investigator Jack Calder is hired to find out what happened.

But Brennan is no ordinary missing person.

A former SAS Special Forces soldier, Brennan is disciplined, capable, and not the type of man who simply runs away. The deeper Jack digs, the more one possibility begins to surface. Brennan may not have been taken. He may have chosen to disappear.

Then things get dangerous.

Two powerful groups are already hunting Brennan. Intelligence operatives who want answers, and organized crime figures who want something Brennan may be carrying. Neither group is known for patience, and both are willing to play hard.

Brennan, however, has one advantage. His old Special Forces network. Men who don’t scare easily and who know how to fight back.

Caught between spies, mobsters, and soldiers who keep their own secrets, Jack Calder must untangle the truth before the search for Brennan turns deadly.

Because someone out there believes Brennan holds evidence to ruin careers, damage international relations, and threaten intelligence agreements.

And Jack is getting dangerously close to finding out what it is.
