Murdersippi Mud Pie

Life in Parfait, Florida, is peaceful. And in local cafe owner Rita Jackson’s opinion it’s a little too quiet. How is a woman supposed to keep her customers engaged in local gossip when there is none?

That’s what she thinks, at least, until a woman drops dead after eating a serving of the cafe’s infamous Mississippi Mud Pie. To make matters worse, Rita’s good friend has been accused of poisoning it.

Rita’s got to solve the mystery before the cafe is closed, her friend winds up behind bars, and her dearest niece arrives for a sun-filled vacation. All while Rita’s oldest enemy, a detective on the brink of retirement, tries to get her in trouble.
