Wait / Hear: Recapturing the Lost Art of Hearing God’s Voice

Who has time to wait on God anymore?

Certainly not the pastor who was too busy working for Him to actually hear from Him.

Wait / Hear is an honest confession of an activity addict―a guy who measured his spirituality by the speed of his schedule and the scope of his ministry. But when a season of devastating losses collided with a drought of faith, activity turned out to be just busyness wearing a church badge. The noise in his life had become so deafening he couldn’t hear the one Voice that mattered.

In the wreckage of burnout, Robby rediscovered the one thing we all desperately need: ears to hear what God is saying. But he found it in the last place he wanted to look―in the quiet, in the stillness, in the kind of silence most people avoid at all costs.

This book is an invitation to discover the same practices that turned a season of burnout into a lifetime of breakthrough, proving that God still speaks to those who are still enough to listen.
