Mary has always dreamed of a perfect romance. A fantasy so vivid she brings it to life in her novels. But when a mysterious pen from her grandfather transports her into her own story, Mary finds herself trapped in 1880s Texas, where gunfights and saloons shape the landscape, and her fictional hero is all too real.
Half-demon, half-human, Ethan Stone is on a mission to redeem his soul by battling his evil father, Satan’s grandson. When Mary appears in his timeline, their connection is immediate and electric. But their love might be impossible as they're continuously ripped apart through different realities and timelines.
As Mary watches her story spiral beyond her control, she discovers powers she never knew she possessed. Now she must navigate a dangerous world of Nephilim, angels, and demons while trying to reunite with Ethan and rescue their child from Brady's clutches.
Time is collapsing. Realities are merging. And in the midst of chaos, Mary faces the ultimate question: If she completes her story and defeats the villain, will she be forced to return to her real life without the family she's come to love?
