It's so disappointing the OG creators let ribay retcon so much of their story. He seems better suited to write non canonical fan fiction seeing as he can't seem to come up with any original ideas and leans so heavily on what we already know, without doing the proper research to make his additions make sense

The book was amazing, with the exception of one scene in particular that was nothing but the blatant and forceful pushing of a delusional ideology. Other than that it was very enjoyable.

Book was exceptional! It's easy to hate Roku, his lack of action played a crucial role in setting up the flames of the 100 year war. I think this story and the concept of the stories centered around Roku's life is compelling because most of us would struggle with understanding that our closest friend has been moving in a way that would require us to stop them for the betterment of the world. I loved another character introduced. I love learning about others so thank you for showing and taking care in introducing this character and there culture which is heavily influenced by real people. It's also beautifully tied into the element they bend. For those of you who do not enjoy this character I ask you to observe people rather than judge them. It's actually very difficult to take yourself out of the middle of things, but you are not th center of all things and that's ok. Not everything is for everybody, but that doesn't make it right or wrong, it just is. Peace and love to everyone.
