Blood Beneath Daybridge: The Making of a Monster
About this audiobook
A dark prequel to the Ethan Reeves werewolf detective series
In 1913 Daybridge, master butcher Guthrie Knox's precision with a blade catches the eye of the enigmatic Eliza Blackwood, whose occult ambitions extend far beyond this world. Seduced by promises of transcendence, Guthrie instead finds himself transformed into something monstrous—a living nexus point beneath the city's great bridge, destined to feed on human victims for over a century.
As his consciousness fragments and evolves, the creature once known as Guthrie Knox becomes the legendary Ogre of Daybridge Bridge, a nightmare that shapes the city's history and collective psyche. When Detective Ethan Reeves arrives in 2025 to investigate the century-old mystery, the Ogre recognizes a connection to his past that may finally offer release from his cursed existence. Spanning over 100 years of horror, this chilling origin story reveals the dark foundation upon which the supernatural world of Daybridge was built.
