THIS MONSTER IS OUT FOR BLOOD—AND SHE'S READY TO BE CONSUMED

JULIET

Maybe the mega-virus that threw the world into an apocalypse and turned the vampires into zombies did mess up my brain. Because the new officer at my compound—where I am kept to be used as a blood supply for the vampires—is strangely irresistible.

Which is ridiculous, because all vampires are dangerous, and cold, and vicious. What's worse, I've seemed to have caught his eye. And like all monsters, he won't give up until he has what he wants.

SILAS

Vampires and humans aren't allowed to be together. It's strictly forbidden, and breaks every rule I've been taught. But to hell with them. Juliet is all that I want, all that I need. She will be mine—no matter the cost, no matter the consequences. The chase is on.
