A humanitarian catastrophe threatens the survival of both races. The new president of the Lumera colony is stretched to his breaking point because he must mediate between Earth and the Kidj'Dan. The work of a geoscientist gives him hope: an uninhabited continent on Lumera could be populated with inhabitants of Earth. But who should explore it?
