Wayfarer - The Mercy Of Khans

When a strange alignment of stars and stone reveals a celestial map carved into a Patagonian cliff, Dr. Arlo Finch's life of quiet failure explodes. His radical theory—that ancient civilizations hid their greatest treasures using a sky-vault map—was right. And it has just led a murderous ultranationalist cult, The New Dawn, straight to his missing mentor.

To rescue his friend, Arlo must join forces with a former military warden, Jax, and a hardened Mongolian guide, Tamir. Their hunt becomes a globe-spanning race from the scorching Atacama to the frozen Mongolian steppe, pursuing the greatest prize of the Mongol Empire: the White Banner of Genghis Khan, a relic of meteoric iron and silk said to hold the coordinates to the Khan's true, unedited history.

But they are not treasure hunters. A powerful syndicate led by a vengeful collector wants the Banner as a trophy. The New Dawn, led by the fanatical oligarch Batukhan, doesn't want to find it—they want to destroy it on live television, erasing the complex past to forge a brutal, new myth.

Outgunned and outmatched, Arlo must decipher a map written in wind and starlight, survive traps laid eight centuries ago, and confront guardians who have kept their vow in the dark for generations. To win, he must learn that the greatest secrets aren't meant to be owned, but protected. And some truths are worth any price.

WAYFARER: THE MERCY OF KHANS is a breakneck, cinematic adventure, where every clue is carved in stone, every enemy knows the land, and the only way out is to follow the map to its dangerous, world-changing end.
