This audiobook has been made with love, enthusiasm, generosity, and a magnificent amount of “fuck it, let’s give it a go” energy.

Not everyone who contributed had access to a studio. Not everyone had a professional microphone, sound treatment, editing software, or the sort of setup that makes audio engineers purr. Some stories came from videos. Some arrived as MP4s. Some were recorded as voice notes. Some were beautifully polished. All are beautifully human.

The levels have been worked on as carefully as possible, and everything has been shaped into the best version it can be. But you may still hear differences in sound quality from story to story. A change in texture. A shift in volume. A little roughness around the edges.

Please forgive those differences.

Or better yet, embrace them.

Because this was never meant to be a sterile, flawless, factory-produced thing. This is a community effort. A collection of voices from people who showed up, gave their time and lent their talent.

Some of the contributors narrate professionally. Some do voice work. Some create audio regularly. And some don’t narrate at all.

That last part makes me ridiculously happy.

Because the whole point of this project is not perfection. It's participation. It's courage. It's people saying, “I’ll try.” It is the glorious, chaotic magic of a community making something together.
