Mystic Dark
Becoming a king’s man
In a world where shadows conceal ancient magic, Vic Lann must win the battle between life and death and gain eternal life. Haunted by visions of Bella Sombra Suena, he craves to claim Death herself, but his friendship with Leland Shade, a vampire, has set him on a more dangerous path.
When Leland's girl, Evelyn, disappears, Vic's loyalty gets put to the test as he uncovers a world of magic, chaos, and prophecies of deadly magnitude. A mysterious package from a Voodoo priestess, a run-in with a French gryphon knight, and a nightmare knife fight with a shadow-souled assassin drag Vic deeper into a web of secrets.
Becoming a king’s man, Vic faces a darker nightmare in his attempt to rescue Santa Muerte. The fate of the dream and the destinies of those with magic hangs in the balance as Vic embraces his darker nature and battles for his love.
Nightmare Dark is the fifth volume in the Mystic Dark miniseries by Ophelia Kee. Set in and around an eerily similar dream version of Chicago, a shadow gifted human claims a piece of immortality and joins the fight to right the balance of magic in the dream. If you want a dark vampire turned grey knight in a twisted story of death as the damsel in distress, Nightmare Dark is your next read.
It’s more than a story; it’s an experience. Welcome to the dream…
