In Her Name: A Novel

What if the person everyone admired… was the one secretly falling apart?

Eva Hart has spent her entire life living in the shadow of her identical twin sister, Elena — a brilliant Chicago attorney with beauty, discipline, and the kind of success that makes people stop and stare. While Elena built a life people respected, Eva drifted through unfinished dreams, failed relationships, and the quiet belief that she would never truly measure up.

Then one storm changes everything.

After a devastating car accident leaves Elena dead, Eva is consumed by grief, guilt, and a terrifying realization: for the first time in her life, her sister’s world is standing empty.

The apartment.

The career.

The power.

The identity.

And when Eva steps into Elena’s life “temporarily,” nobody notices the difference.

At first, it feels like survival.

Then it becomes intoxicating.

Inside the polished world of corporate law, wealth, and carefully hidden loneliness, Eva slowly transforms into the woman she always believed was better than her. But the deeper she falls into Elena’s life, the more dangerous the lie becomes.

Because grief has a way of exposing the truth.

And no identity can stay stolen forever.

As relationships deepen, suspicions rise, and the lines between the sisters begin to blur, Eva is forced to confront the most painful question of all:

Was Elena truly the perfect twin…

or had they both been losing themselves all along?

Emotionally gripping, hauntingly beautiful, and impossible to put down, In Her Name is a powerful psychological drama about grief, identity, sisterhood, love, and the desperate human need to become someone worthy of being seen.
