Almost A Love Story

A bull killed his father.

Magnus Bigelow intends to return the favour.

At fifteen, Magnus watches his father die on their remote Australian cattle property, killed by a fighting bull imported from Spain.

A year later, obsessed with revenge, he travels to Spain with an extraordinary ambition—to become a matador.

At the Escuela Taurina de San Jerónimo, Magnus learns to understand the animal he has spent years hating. He also meets Lucía, a beautiful young Spaniard who shares his ambition, captures his heart and leaves him with a prediction he cannot explain.

“I will never see Magnus kill a bull.”

Magnus doesn't believe her.

He has crossed the world for one reason.

To avenge his father.
