Vampyre

In 16th century Istria, Elton Grando was many things—a husband, a father, a woodworker... and a killer. When justice caught up to him, he thought death would be the end.
He was wrong. On the eve of his execution, the Devil himself comes calling. Say yes to the creature I send you—or descend into Hell.Reborn as the world’s first Vampyre, he rises into a cursed half-life governed by ancient laws and hungers he can barely control. But survival comes at a cost.
As war brews with the Republic of Venice and whispers of a greater darkness stir beyond the veil, Elton must build a kingdom of the dead—or be devoured by the power that made him.
His old love, Anica, may still haunt his heart, but the blood calls louder. And when his empire expands to the New World, Elton’s hunger takes on new, darker forms.
Because when you make a deal with the Devil... Blood is never the only price.
