Thorned Rule: A Power and Surrender Romance

At Thorn House, one broken promise could destroy a school.

The only man who might save it is the one temptation its headmistress cannot afford.

Headmistress Sera Whitcombe rules by ritual, restraint, and an absolute refusal to fail the students in her care. When Adrian Rojas arrives as the school’s new chair, he brings money, influence, a damaged family legacy—and an unnerving willingness to submit to her rules. What begins as a battle over budgets, loyalty, and control turns into something far more dangerous: a negotiated code of power, care, and desire that neither of them can treat lightly.

Because Thorn House is already under threat. Notes arrive. Donors circle. Old scandals sharpen into public weapons. A vulnerable student stands too close to the blast radius. And every time Sera and Adrian step closer in private, the stakes rise in public.

Set in a cliffside school of iron gates, candlelight, sea storms, and strict vows, Thorned Rule is a dark contemporary romance charged with suspense, emotional precision, and fiercely consensual power exchange. This is a story of a commanding heroine, a devoted hero, and the brutal discipline of wanting without breaking what matters most. For readers who crave dominant feminine power, intelligent erotic tension, and romantic suspense built on consent, competence, and vows that cut both ways.
