Legacy of Thorns: A Sleeping Beauty Tale

A girl combating a sleep enchantment, a young man trying to save his brother, and a deception that forces them together.

Daphne is well known for her endless naps and for the enchantment that fuels them—after all she comes from Oakden, and Oakden’s Legacy is famous for two things: sleeping and thorns. She’s ready to finally be free of the sleepiness, even if that means returning to the birth kingdom she left long ago. But when she steps over the border, the Legacy’s enchantment doesn’t lift. Apparently she’s going to have to fight harder to escape its clutches—something that would be easier if the very handsome Finley didn’t keep getting in her way.

Finley has spent his life protecting his younger brother—but when the foolhardy youth falls prey to the Legacy, the boy is going to need more than just Fin to escape. Thankfully a new arrival to the kingdom gives Fin hope, even if he has to use a tiny deception to secure her assistance.

But the deception has consequences neither expected, and both their plans are soon in tatters. When they’re forced to work together, how can Daphne trust someone who lied to her and how can Fin save both his brother and the beautiful girl who’s slowly stealing his heart?

Enter a world where tales of the past shape the enchanted landscape—where glass can bend like a slipper and picking a rose courts danger. A world where the inhabitants must overcome the fabled Legacies as they find romance, adventure, and friendship.
