Promise Me Shadows

Silver: He literally fell from the sky, with his sharp jawline, unsettling eyes, and those marks burning bright when he looks at me. How the hell am I supposed to believe a word he says?

Cas is too powerful, too mysterious, and honestly? Too convenient. We're on the brink of war, both inside and outside of the city. And all of a sudden, a bona fide god spawn lands in our laps, happy to help? I don't buy it. He must be a spy. A weapon deployed to destabilize us.

I'm watching him for a reason. And that reason has nothing to do with those thick thighs. But damn, he really doesn't miss leg days.

Cas: Someone needs to remove the broomstick firmly lodged in this chick's shapely derrière before we murder each other.

She's right, of course. I am lying. What am I supposed to say, that everyone on Earth will likely be dead inside of a year? That would just make them panic ahead of time. It's not like she can do anything against the gods and monsters set to take over.

The only entity on Earth capable of withstanding them is me. Too bad I've never been the savior type. And I'm not about to enter a losing fight with my family for a woman . . . Right?

Promise Me Shadows is book one in the duet following Cas and Silver. You may start the paranormal romance story here, although Vow Forever Night will give you better insight into the world.
