The Fall of Martin Orchard - Second Edition
About this audiobook
One ordinary tourist. One impossible choice. A fall that would decide the fate of humanity.
When Martin Orchard buys a mysterious glowing crystal in a Cairo bazaar, he expects nothing more than a souvenir. Instead, it opens a hidden portal inside the Great Pyramid and hurls him into the presence of ancient Zetan deities who offer him godlike power… at a terrible price.
He chooses to return to his ordinary life. But destiny has other plans.
A deadly avalanche in Nepal awakens a far darker force. Seduced by the ruthless Empress Rangda, Martin becomes her Chosen One — granted a mind-expanding monocle, forbidden artefacts, and a mission to prepare humanity for an apocalyptic gamma-ray burst in 2131… no matter the cost in blood.
As Martin's power grows, so does his corruption. He travels the globe committing atrocities in the name of survival, slowly losing everything he once loved. The true horror emerges when he discovers the one person who can stop the coming end: his own daughter, Sabina — a young woman with terrifying empathic abilities she barely understands.
Haunted by guilt, betrayal, and the purple glow in his eye, Martin must make one final, devastating choice: embrace the monster he has become, or sacrifice everything to give humanity — and his daughter — a chance at survival.
A sweeping tale of ancient aliens, moral descent, global conspiracy, and heartbreaking family tragedy, The Fall of Martin Orchard is an epic story about how far one man will fall to save the world… or destroy it.
How far would you fall?
