The Cursed Gnome

Some curses won't stay buried.

Special Agent Izzie Berens thought peace had finally come to Austin, but her relief is short-lived when her friend Dax is struck by a lethal curse. The only way to save him means tapping into dark magic she's sworn to fight. When her personal involvement gets her sidelined by her ambitious boss, Izzie and her ally Rafe dive deep into Austin's dangerous underworld, risking everything without the safety of their badges.

Plagued by shadows of her vigilante past, Izzie must walk a razor-thin line between heroism and darkness. How far will she go to save a friend without becoming the very thing she hunts?
