About this audiobook
Soon-to-be divorced, Alex and Alex Harper are trying to keep things civil for their daughter. The plan is simple. Stay friends, avoid drama, move on with their lives.
Then a stranger walks up to their table at a restaurant and asks to speak with Alex Harper. Moments later, she is shot dead outside. Neither of them knows who she is or knows why she asked for Alex. Yet her death pulls them into something far bigger than a random act of violence.
As the Harpers search for answers, they uncover a trail of corruption. The deeper they dig, the more they realize the danger is real, and close. Finding the truth might bring justice for the murdered woman. It might even change what remains of their relationship.
It could also get them killed.
