About this audiobook

What if your grumpy neighbour is hiding more than just a dark past?

Widowed and nearly destitute, Jane, Duchess of Coleford, has one asset left: a crumbling Cornish manor she's never seen. It's meant to be her fresh start—until her hostile neighbour makes it clear he wants her gone.

Brook Reeves is infuriatingly arrogant, impossibly handsome, and determined to buy her out. Jane refuses on principle. She needs this house. She needs her independence. And she certainly doesn't need to feel so alive under the intensity of his scowling attention.

But when an unexpected crisis forces Jane inside the gates of Reeves Hall, she stumbles upon something extraordinary—a secret Brook and his family have guarded at all costs.

Now he cannot let her leave… She is his captive duchess.

But as days turn to weeks in forced proximity, the walls between them begin to crumble. Jane sees beyond his scowling exterior to the truth beneath. And Brook discovers that the greatest threat to his family's secret might be losing his heart to the one woman he was never supposed to keep.

My Captive Duchess is a Regency romance with a sci-fi twist—featuring enemies-to-lovers tension, forced proximity, and a hero who's literally out of this world. Book 1 of the Reeves of Reeves Hall but can be enjoyed as a standalone.

Perfect for readers who love: Jane Eyre retelling • Grumpy / sunshine romance • Slow-burn steam • Genre-bending romance with heart.

*Worlds Collide* Jane Cavendish, Duchess of Coleford, & Brook Reeves have a... unique story. I stepped out of my comfort zone when I picked this up. It is undoubtedly an interesting mix of genres as Regency meets something literally out of this world with the Reeves family & servants coming from another galaxy. As odd as it was for the two worlds to collide, I found myself enjoying it. Chloe, Jane's daughter, helps ease some of the tension, especially when she begs for sweets.
