About this audiobook

Rule #1 of directing: Never fall for your lead actor. Rule #2: See rule #1.

I'm Chase, director of Christmas movies and master of self-control... until now. My latest film is about to flop hard. With my career hanging by a thread, I'm forced to fake-date my lead actor Ethan "Walking Temptation" Barrett. Cue a Florida holiday "vacation" with his oddball family, complete with a pet alligator. Between Ethan's perpetual shirtlessness and us sharing one bed, my ice queen reputation is melting faster than a frozen margarita on the beach. His touch sets me on fire, his sultry smile makes me weak, and suddenly, I'm forgetting all my rules. If we fail, I lose everything. If we succeed... I might lose even more.

I'm Ethan, rom-com heartthrob with a reputation. Fake-dating my uptight director? Not exactly on my Christmas list. But if this doesn’t work, my holiday acting career is over. Her bossy attitude shouldn't turn me on this much, just like those rare smiles of hers that make my heart race. As Chase's prim facade cracks under the mistletoe, I'm discovering a woman who ignites me like no other. It’s supposed to be pretend, but there’s nothing fake about the way she moans my name in the dark. Now I'm determined to prove that sometimes, the best holiday magic can’t be scripted.

This Christmas, all bets are off.

This hilarious, fake dating story is a spicy, open door, enemies to lovers, reverse grumpy sunshine romance. Enjoy this “he falls first”, shares one bed, workplace romantic comedy. It features a tropical holiday aesthetic, and steamy situations in sunny, beachy Florida. Perfect for the holidays, and Christmas in July.

Fake It ’Till You Sleigh It delivers exactly what its title promises—a frothy, festive fake-dating romance wrapped in holiday lights. A director and an actor pretend to be a couple, only to find themselves tangled in real feelings while spending Christmas with his family in sunny Florida. The premise is delightfully tropey, with plenty of awkward family dinners, playful banter, and the inevitable “oops, maybe this isn’t so fake” realization. It’s light, quick, and charming, though predictable. Perfect for readers who want holiday cheer, family warmth, and a dash of romance without taking things too seriously.

This book slid into my holiday reading stack like a peppermint mocha with a secret kick. It starts fun and light, then warms up in the best way as the chemistry between the leads grows undeniable. The fake-dating setup sets the tone, and the festive setting gives everything a soft glow without weighing the story down. The banter hits just right playful, snappy, and full of tension. The characters spark off each other in ways that make even the quiet moments feel charged. I loved the holiday energy: cozy scenes, festive atmosphere, and just enough seasonal charm to keep things bright. And yes, the spice absolutely shows up. Tasteful, warm, and delivered with confidence. A few emotional beats skim the surface instead of diving deeply, but the breezy pacing is part of its charm. The book knows what it wants to be: a fun, feel good, lightly steamy holiday escape. This is the perfect pick for readers craving a cheerful romcom with enough heat to keep things interesting. Lighthearted, festive, and full of chemistry. A delightful way to add a little sparkle to your season.

A well written x rated hallmark christmas movie with really bizarre quips and situations, but an endearing ending.
