Faith of My Fathers

Riveting, gripping, dramatic historical fiction based on the reign of King Manasseh of Judah from the scrolls of 2 Kings and 2 Chronicles in the Bible. I thoroughly enjoyed each character's arc, the story telling quality, the narrator's dynamic voices, the plentiful references to Scripture, especially the many encouraging passages from the Scroll of Isaiah. Stories have explaining power and make mere lessons and good information come to life in a way that's relatable and applicable to my own. So thankful I found Lynn Austin's series, Chronicles of the Kings. I have enjoyed every volume in this series since the first one and have found more faith in Yahweh through this novel series.
