Our Little Secret

Miguel only wanted to disappear into the background. New school, new faces, a new chance to be someone other than the boy who made all the wrong choices.

But secrets don't vanish — they wait.

Between after-school practice, friendships he never saw coming, and glances that linger a breath too long, Miguel is doing what he does best: keeping everything under control. Especially the thing he has never once let himself say out loud.

Some connections, though, refuse to be managed.

And when something that starts as closeness slowly becomes something more, the fear is no longer his alone to carry. Because suddenly, this isn't just his secret anymore.

It's theirs.

And keeping it buried — well, that's turning out to be a great deal harder than either of them expected.
