O ovoj audio knjizi
Krishna is one of the most beloved and influential figures in the religious history of humanity. Revered by millions as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, divine teacher, statesman, friend, and protector, he stands at the heart of some of Hinduism's most important sacred texts and devotional traditions. For thousands of years, his life, teachings, and pastimes have inspired philosophers, poets, saints, artists, and spiritual seekers throughout the world.
The principal accounts of Krishna's life are found in the Mahabharata, the Bhagavad Gita, and especially the Srimad-Bhagavatam. Born in Mathura during a time of political turmoil, Krishna's early years were spent in the pastoral region of Vrindavan, where stories of his childhood adventures, friendships, and divine activities became some of the most cherished narratives in world literature. As he matured, he emerged as a statesman, warrior, and spiritual guide whose wisdom shaped the course of history.
This biography explores Krishna's life, teachings, relationships, adventures, and enduring significance. Drawing upon sacred literature, traditional commentaries, historical scholarship, and devotional sources, it presents the story of a figure whose influence extends far beyond religion alone. Whether regarded as God, teacher, hero, or cultural icon, Krishna remains one of the most profound and inspiring personalities in the spiritual heritage of mankind.
