Scarlet Promise: A Brother's Best Friend Russian Mafia Romance

ILYA

My own soldier, someone I trusted, betrayed me.

Now, the woman I’m in love with is in danger.

Just when I think things can’t get worse,

Demyan returns.

He is furious with me.

We put aside our differences to find Alina,

But Demyan makes it clear he’s never going to forgive me for this.

How can I make him see this isn’t just a fling?

Alina means the world to me.

I’d sacrifice everything to be with her.

Including our friendship.

ALINA

I knew Demyan would eventually find out about Ilya and I,

but I had convinced myself he’d understand once he saw how happy we were.

I was wrong.

I’ve seen my brother angry, but never like this.

He looks at Ilya like he wants to murder him.

Then things get even more complicated.

I find out I’m pregnant.

Ilya is thrilled when I tell him.

My brother? Not so much...
