About this audiobook

How far would you go to protect your family?

Steve Richardson thought his biggest worries were yardwork and raising two teenagers. But after a harmless social media post spins wildly out of control, he finds himself at the center of a vicious online mob—targeted, canceled, and threatened.

As his quiet suburban life collapses, Steve must fight back against strangers who don't know him, don't care, and want to destroy him anyway. What starts as an internet pile on soon spirals into real world danger, forcing Steve to confront just how thin the line is between digital outrage and real violence.

@YellowCrocs421 is a razor-sharp psychological thriller about cancel culture, mob mentality, and the terrifying ease with which ordinary lives are ripped apart.

Gritty, hilarious, and disturbingly true-to-life, Kevin Forrest Igo delivers a gripping cautionary tale that will leave you questioning every comment you make online.

About the author

Kevin Forrest Igo is the author of @yellowcrocs421, a crime thriller and the first installment in a three-book series exploring cancel culture, digital identity, and the real-world consequences of public condemnation. With more than 35 years in information technology and 16 cybersecurity certifications, Kevin brings a seasoned understanding of the digital world's power and volatility. His fiction is grounded not only in imagination, but in firsthand knowledge of how online narratives can shape, distort, and sometimes destroy lives, and how vengeance can emerge at the end of that road. As a husband, father, and grandfather, he writes with a clear understanding of what family means, and what it costs when those foundations are threatened. He is currently writing the next two books in the series, The Cancelled Chronicles, expanding the psychological and cultural themes introduced in @yellowcrocs421. Kevin is also working on a nonfiction project addressing his lifelong battle with depression and the profound impact ketamine therapy has had on his life. An experience that reshaped his perspective and deepened the emotional lens through which he writes. He lives at the intersection of technology and storytelling, where the digital world meets the human condition, and where consequences are never merely virtual.
