Nexus Dei

Nexus Dei launches a riveting new series exploring faith, sacrifice, and the ultimate questions we are facing in an age of AI: What does it mean to be human? Can we really save ourselves? Can we truly love without sacrifice?

Elias got everything he ever wanted. That's when he knew he was in hell.

After an accident and a two-year coma, agnostic engineer Elias awakens to find his family alive and a world finally at peace. Grateful for his recovery, he even finds himself open to faith—a spiritual transformation that would have been impossible before.

But as perfect happiness begins to feel like a prison, a mysterious priest warns him of a terrible truth: This isn't the real world at all.

His family are beautiful lies, AI constructs designed to make him "happy" while the world recovers from nuclear fallout.

But where is his real family? Did they survive the accident that put him in a coma? Are they out there somewhere in a war-torn reality?

Now, Elias faces an impossible choice: remain in blissful deception with the artificial souls he's grown to love, or risk everything in an unlikely hope that his real family is still alive

But if he's "unplugged," he might not wake up at all.

To save those he loves, he must first be willing to die.

Fans of Judah Lamb's The Unfallen series will love this new Christian dystopian and post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller. It's perfect for readers who loved The Matrix, Frank Peretti's This Present Darkness, and Ready Player One.

Sometimes the greatest act of love is letting go of a beautiful lie.
